D Inghilterra Hotel

Via Bocca Di Leone 14, Rome 00187

Our Review

The hotel exudes a traditional English elegance and is filled with genuine antiques. Many guests love the location and the style of this hotel although it would not suit those who prefer a modern, contemporary style.

A large, elegant lobby with ornate furnishings welcomes you on arrival at this hotel. There is a comfortable lounge to the left, adorned with large mirrors and artwork, where guests can enjoy a drink and the daily newspapers. The theme of the hotel is that of a traditional English manor house and it is very stylishly finished.
There are 89 individually decorated sumptuous guestrooms, each with original antique furniture and a wide range of facilities. All are decorated with close attention to detail. The elegant bathrooms are all finished in marble and include a complimentary array of luxurious toiletries. All rooms are fitted with satellite flat screen TV, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, mini bar and personal safe. Most rooms are twins/doubles with the facility to accommodate a third person if necessary.
he hotel is home to the award-winning restaurant "Cafe Romano," recent winner of the "Best Hotel Restaurant in Italy." It is also open to the public for lunch and dinner and is often full of local residents. Breakfast is served in the beautiful frescoed breakfast room. The hotel bar is open until late and serves a wide range of drinks and coffees in an intimate English atmosphere.
