The room was OK; some of the furniture a bit rickety. The lounge is very spacious and comfortable, and the elongated breakfast room with its superb panoramic view was a delight and lived up to the hotel's claims.
Top Tip
Only 10 minutes' walk from the Borghese Museum. Lots of good restaurants in the close vicinity. One great advantage is the little 116 bus which stops directly across the road from the hotel and which, for 1 euro, will take you through Rome to various places, including St. Peter's.

I was pleasantly surprised with how convenient the location of this hotel turned out to be for our daily excursions. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous.
Top Tip
Nino's restaurant near the Spanish Steps was excellent, as was Cesarina's, near the hotel.

Wonderful view from breakfast room.
Rooms are "cosy" but well fitted out and newly decorated.

An excellent hotel with friendly staff, location is perfect, definately the nicest area in Rome (near spanish steps/via venetto). Quiet road but right next to good restaurants and places to have a drink. (Young British couple).
Top Tip
Cafe Venetto (great meal, better wine, and good piano player, top waiter called Edward) Mandarin Chineese restaurant is excellent.

lovely situation, by ancient wall and Borghese Gardens, rooms small but adequate. very hard pillows, and bedside lights high on wall and only accessible from one side. Good service, breakfast good. Definitely recommend it.
Top Tip
Nice cafe at cinema museum near gate, visit Villa Borghese early in day - short walk. Villa Giulia if interested in Greek/Etruscan stuff. Further out, walk down on Tiber bank.

website shows all bathrooms as being "in marble", which is not true. Ours was poor quality, not marble & false ceilings filthy. We chose our hotel based on clean marble bathroom so disappointed.
