A short walk from Termini, the main rail and bus station, the hotel is well up to the standard expected of a Best Western. Great breakfast choice and plenty of it. Rooms more than adequate against the Italian standard which tend to be a little on the small side. A very relaxing atmosphere on a reasonably quiet Street. Don't tell everyone, I want to go back again next year.
Top Tip
If Rugby and Guinness is your thing, the hotel is positioned a short walk from a number of Irish bars and is surrounded with reasonably priced eating houses. If not, enjoy the many cafes and restaurants which abound. You can walk to the Termini Rail station and pick up an open top sightseeing trip to orient yourselves, taking in all the famous city landmarks, but walking is by far the best way to see Rome, if you're up to it.

A Best Western Hotel with a standard to match incl a cooked breakfast as well as a full selection from the continental buffet. Good sized rooms and very clean throughout. Front desk staff excellent, with very good English. Barman a little surley, no smile or conversation.
Top Tip
Easy walk from Termini, don't let the taxi firm con you out of 25 Euro for a walk you can do in less than 10 mins.
Really close to Irish Bars, if Guinness and sport are you're thing. A nice 10-15 min stroll to the old part of town and some excellent restaurants.

Good location, however the decor while being clean appeared a bit dated
Top Tip
It's Rome, however watch out for pickpockets on the number 64 bus to the Vatican and they'll not be who you think. For nightlife Trastevere is tops

We requested a room on a low floor not roadside,(i.e. quiet room away from traffic noise), and this is exactly what we got. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff courteous. Although the room was on the small side, it was very clean and perfectly adequate
for our stay. Bathroom/shower very clean. Change of towels every day.
Top Tip
The location of the hotel was excellent. If you wanted you could walk anywhere, if not you could walk to Termini Station and get a bus (1 Euro)to lots of different places. One thing we learned on the last day. The 1 Euro bus ticket can be used for more that one journey on the buses within a period of time, which is printed on the back of ticket, once it has been stamped in machine on bus.

Really good location in terms of getting to the hotel from Airport. It is a 10 minute walk from termini.
Top Tip
Don't waste money getting a taxi to and from airport to hotel. On the way in we took a 5 euro coach service and on the way back we took a train and bus (because the coach times were not suitable).
