Due to the age and nature of this listed building, many rooms maintain the original architectural features such as mosaic floors and hardwood doors. There are 210 guestrooms in total in the hotel of which 162 are twins/doubles, 26 are singles and the rest a combination of triples and suites. There are a limited number of extra beds available to make triples and there are no quad rooms. 5 rooms in this hotel have been adapted for those guests with disabilities. Decor in the guestrooms is of an Imperial style. Rooms tend to be spacious with very high ceilings and have intricately carved woodwork. The plain walls are decorated with paintings and the fabrics in the room tend to be plush and in deep colours. All rooms have satellite television which also allows access to the internet, mini bar and safety deposit box for which there is no charge (although a deposit must be left at reception). Bathrooms are large, clean and modern with the usual array of facilities.
