Standing in one of Rome’s most fascinating squares, between the Pantheon and the Church of “Santa Maria Sopra Minerva,” the Grand De La Minerva Hotel is a deluxe property. Not only is it housed in a 17th century palazzo, it has also been a 5-star hotel since the end of the 18th century. The magnificent lobby is very elegantly appointed with light marble, Persian rugs and crystal chandeliers and is dominated by an original 19th century statue of the goddess Minerva.
The 135 guestrooms feature old “boiserie” ceilings, antique furniture and soft colour schemes. All are well maintained and equipped with a good range of modern amenities.
The hotel’s restaurant, "La Cesta," serves both Italian and international specialities. In the summer months guests can also dine in the roof garden while enjoying outstanding views of the Eternal City. Alternatively, the hotel’s bar, "Le Cupole," offers guests a wide range of wines and liquors.
